The seminar "Implementing the QCVN 06:2022/BXD Standards for Residential and Construction Projects" successfully took place at the Auditorium of the University of Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was organized by the Vietnam Institute for Building Materials (Ministry of Construction), in collaboration with the Department of Science, Technology & Environment of the Ministry of Construction, and the University of Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. It attracted a large number of experts, businesses, and managers in the construction sector.

Dr. Le Minh Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology & Environment at the Ministry of Construction, opened the workshop by emphasizing the importance of updating and complying with fire safety regulations in construction. He specifically highlighted significant amendments in version 1:2023 of QCVN 06:2022/BXD, which clarify regulations and offer more effective solutions without compromising fire safety requirements.

Key Topics Discussed at the Workshop:

  1. Amendments in QCVN 06:2022/BXD Version 1:2023: Experts detailed the critical changes in the standard, particularly regulations related to classifying buildings by fire hazard level, selecting appropriate fire prevention and fighting materials and equipment, and effective fire prevention measures.
  2. Fire Safety in High-Rise Buildings in Major Cities: The workshop highlighted the current challenges in fire safety for high-rise buildings and proposed solutions to enhance fire prevention and fighting effectiveness.
  3. Factors Affecting Fire Safety in Construction: Experts analyzed technical factors, materials, design, and management aspects that impact fire safety during the construction of buildings.
  4. Challenges and Obstacles in Implementing the Standard: The workshop provided a platform for investors, construction companies, contractors, and stakeholders to share difficulties and obstacles encountered in implementing QCVN 06:2022/BXD.
  5. Solutions and Guidance for Overcoming Challenges: Experts offered specific solutions and detailed guidance to address difficulties, overcome obstacles, and correct violations related to fire safety.

A key highlight of the workshop was the introduction of DPKT Technologies' solutions for explosion-proof electrical equipment. Ms. Nguyễn Vũ Quỳnh Nguyên, General Director of DPKT Technologies, provided expert analysis on international and Vietnamese fire safety standards, particularly for high-risk projects classified as A and B under QCVN 06:2022/BXD. She also shared practical experiences and successful projects where DPKT Technologies supplied explosion-proof electrical solutions for the oil and gas, chemical, energy, and other industries with high fire safety requirements. These solutions not only effectively prevent explosions but also ensure the continuity of production and business operations.

Ms. Quỳnh Nguyên emphasized, “The selection and installation of non-standard electrical equipment are among the leading causes of severe explosions in industrial facilities. Therefore, equipping facilities with standard-compliant explosion-proof electrical devices is a key factor in ensuring adherence to technical regulations, minimizing risks, and safeguarding people and property.”

DPKT Technologies, with its experience and reputation in explosion-proof electrical equipment, introduced advanced product lines meeting the strictest international fire safety standards such as IECEx, ATEX, and equivalent Vietnamese standards. These products include explosion-proof lighting systems, sockets and plugs, junction boxes, switching devices, AI thermal cameras, air conditioners, control cabinets, and smart control systems (SCS) that meet both international and Vietnamese explosion-proof standards.

In addition to providing products, DPKT Technologies offers comprehensive solutions in consulting, designing, installing, and maintaining explosion-proof electrical and lighting systems, helping investors and contractors optimize their investments and ensure absolute safety for their projects.

The display of DPKT Technologies' solutions received great interest and high evaluations from the workshop participants. Many technical questions were posed and thoroughly answered by DPKT, contributing to a deeper understanding and awareness of the importance of using explosion-proof electrical equipment in high-risk projects.
